Patch 11.2.7 is going to explode the Market
Housing Dyes & Decor
On December 2nd, patch 11.2.7, with the live release of early access to housing, they are bringing dyes into the game. But probably not in the way you think. See, these dyes won’t be for transmog, help you in a raid, or be useful in Mythic+, but they may help you win a housing competition. That’s right, a housing competition click here to learn more.
These dyes will be for the new player housing to dye your furniture, etc, along with these new dyes. For those who aren’t into professions/earning there housing items and just want to jump into housing from day 1, some player housing decor items assuming ones that are also crafted can also be sold on the AH and probably for a lot of gold off launch as people get them.
The Provided evidence that dyes & decor items will be sellable on the AH is from the new AH category when searching on the left side as you now see a hosuing tab with Decor & Housing Dye in them.
Housing Dyes
Let’s take a closer look into these housing dyes and what herbs, etc, are needed to craft them.
Currently on the Midnight Beta, the crafting ratio for the dyes is shown below:
10 Herbs > 1 Pigment > 1 Dye
10 herbs create 1 pigment and pigments convert into dyes on a 1:1 ratio
Zekido From Reddit also known as Kido has created the ultimate cheat sheet of the herbs, dyes, conversion rates, expansion & color breakdown, etc, from on the beta so let’s have a look.

How To Craft Dyes?
There’s 1 way you can craft dyes if you're not interested in buying them off the AH as they may have some crazy unrealistic price not everyone can afford.
Alchemy is Required!
You can use Alchemy & Inscription witch seems weird when Alchemy can just make it all but Inscription can only make the pigments, this is a bit confusing on why they did this but again it’s beta this may not be in the live release we will have to wait and see.
You can craft dyes yourself by using that simple conversion above you need 10 of one herb then under your Alchemy Profession tab you convert those 10 herbs into 1 pigment, afterwards you go to the Dye Station witch can be found in your Neighborhood and craft your desired dyes there.
To Use The Dye station you must have Alchemy and there for there’s no point for you to have Inscription witch is the other profession that can craft pigments but feels useless.
The Dye Station Location For Founders Point Town Is Below!
